Personality

Ciel is incredibly intelligent. His mind works like it does while playing a game of Chess. He mentally places all players and situations on the board in order to solve challenging situations. The plans he develops are always well thought out and looked at from all angles.

He is wise beyond his years but due to his young age and fragile appearance, people (especially businessmen) usually underestimate him, much to his frustation.

Despite this, Ciel can be childish. He constantly tries to appear mature and authoritative as children typically do when trying to be more grown up. He'll push help away, claiming he doesn't need support, even when he clearly does. Due to his short temper, he'll snap and shout at others without warning when annoyed. He also has trouble admitting when he's wrong and will push his plans through, expecting Sebastian to save him if something were to go amiss.

Ciel is cynical and distrustful of others, especially towards adults. This is due to his trauma of being kidnapped and tortured in a cult by adults. Despite his cold and detached personality, he does truly care for those close to him by showing them his own ways of fondness, such as buying his servants necessities when they required them. When he comes across a child being abused by their parents in any way, he tends to go out of his way to help "free" the child however possible, as he did with Sieglinde Sullivan.

He is rather ruthless and his morals are questionable sometimes, especially when it comes to being The Queen's Watchdog. He won't hesitate preforming morally grey tasks to fulfill The Queen's requests, such as setting a student's dorm on fire.

Ciel is used to a life of luxury and struggles with basic human tasks such as dressing himself or cooking. He also doesn't fare well in poor environments for prolonged lengths of time. His asthma also becomes an obstacle from time to time.

He is quite introverted. He'll get tired and will find ways to sneak off to spend some time alone. He also hates parties, dancing, and the like.

Marksmanship

Ciel is competent with firearms, especially pistols. He's quite comfortable carrying one on his person and isn't afraid to use one to defend himself or others. Asides from Sebastian, it's his main source of defense while on missions. He keeps one under his pillow while he sleeps.

Leadership

As the Earl of the Phantomhive house, Ciel is an exceptional leader. He knows when to put his foot down to get things done but also treats his servants with full respect. It's no wonder he gains full loyalty from them.

Deception

Ciel is frighteningly good at slipping on any mask he requires. He lies without a trace of remorse, will smile when needed, and easily fills any role. This occurs the most when undercover, however, he'll use these skills for his own personal benefit without hesitation, like he did when recruiting Snake. He's extremely skilled at negotiation, deception, and using other's weaknesses to his advantage. If Ciel smiles, run.

Business Acumen

Fulfilling his childhood dream, Ciel owns his own company, Funtom Corporation, that sells candy, toys, and perfume. He has a real knack for business with his sharp sense for market trends and conditions, constantly staying on top of new developments and opportunities.
